STUART FRANCES BRYDON December 11, 1920 - January 20, 2005 With family and his loving wife, Hilda, beside him on their 60th wedding anniversary, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather completed the final chapter of his life on January 20. Stuart Brydon was born in Portage la Prairie on December 11, 1920. He served in the RCAF in the Second World War as an Air Gunner. While overseas, he met and married Hilda Gunn. He later worked as a stationary engineer, retiring from Molson's in 1985. He was the proud father of John (Kathy) and Janet (Ed); grandfather of Ian, Heather, Gillian (Robert) and Lynne (Cam) and great-grandfather of Alistair. He is also survived by two brothers, Jim and Bill, and many nieces and nephews. His parents, Frank and Cora, and one brother, Ralph, predeceased him. Dad was very proud of his military service, so he was cremated in his RCAF uniform. The family will hold a private service later in the year. We gratefully thank the staff members of Deer Lodge Hospital, Selkirk General Hospital, Tudor House Personal Care Home and Home Care for the tender, loving care he received over the years as Parkinson's Disease advanced. If you wish, please make a donation in his memory to a charity of your choice. To know him was to love him.
